1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RecruiterRank ("the Platform"), operated at rec-rank.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RecruiterRank. Please read them carefully.
2. Eligibility
To use RecruiterRank, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid LinkedIn account
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
3. Account Responsibilities
Your account is created via LinkedIn sign-in. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your session or allow others to use your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@rec-rank.com.
4. Review Guidelines
When submitting reviews on RecruiterRank, you agree that your reviews must:
- Be honest and based on genuine personal experience with the recruitment company
- Not contain defamatory, abusive, threatening, or otherwise unlawful content
- Not be submitted with the intent to manipulate a competitor's reputation
- Not contain personal information about identifiable individuals (other than yourself)
- Not be submitted in exchange for payment or other incentives
- Not be duplicates or spam
We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these guidelines, without notice.
5. Company Claim Responsibilities
If you claim a company profile on RecruiterRank, you represent and warrant that you are an authorised representative of that company. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided during the claim process.
We reserve the right to verify claims and revoke claimed status if we determine that the claim was made fraudulently or by an unauthorised person.
6. Subscription Terms
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds
We do not generally offer refunds for subscription payments. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at privacy@rec-rank.com and we will review your case.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any reviews and content you submit to RecruiterRank. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform and in promotional materials.
All other content on the Platform — including but not limited to the design, logo, text, graphics, and software — is the property of RecruiterRank and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without permission
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews
- Use automated tools (bots) to interact with the Platform, except as permitted
- Circumvent any security measures or rate limits
9. Content Moderation and Removal
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to review, edit, or remove any content on the Platform at our sole discretion. We may remove content that violates these Terms, our review guidelines, or applicable law. We are not responsible for content submitted by users.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecruiterRank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any reviews or content on the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RecruiterRank, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at privacy@rec-rank.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints within 30 days.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will remain in effect.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Account deletion is subject to our privacy policy retention terms.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
